Representatives from the treaty tribes in western Washington testified February 20 in the Senate committee on Energy, Natural Resources and Marine Waters. They discussed tribal fisheries management, the economic benefits of tribal fisheries for both tribal and non-tribal communities and the need for more fish. Speaking are Jim Peters (Squaxin Island Tribe), Dave Herrera (Skokomish Tribe) and Phil Rigdon (Yakama Tribe).
