Job Summary
Responsibilities involve project management related to shellfish fisheries resource co-management and research. The employee has the primary responsibility for the design, collection, analysis, and interpretation of data and develops conclusions and recommendations for management and research. The applicant is expected to perform work independently with limited supervisory oversight. This position will be the lead for the Shellfish Program’s Dive Fisheries Division; specifically, geoduck (Panopea generosa), horse clams (Tresus capax), California sea cucumber (Parastichopus californicus) and sea urchins (Strongylocentrotidae & Mesocentrotus spp.) fisheries.
