The Kitsap Sun published a story about the Kitsap Nearshore Assessment Team. The team is collecting data about the quality of fish and wildlife habitat on the eastern shores of Kitsap County. The Suquamish Tribe’s Paul Dorn has been leading the offshore efforts with beach seine outings with trained volunteers who observe the salmon and forage fish that live in the nearshore habitat.
