The Air Quality Specialist is part of the Environmental Protection Department within the Quinault Division of Natural Resources. The primary functions of this position are to implement an air quality program intended to protect the air quality within the Quinault Indian Reservation and to maintain compliance with the U.S. Clean Air Act including compliance with the Federal Air Rules for Reservations or FARR. This position is funded by the EPA’s non-competitive air quality, multi-purpose and IGAP grants.  Primary duties of the position include indoor air quality outreach and education, emissions reduction projects, grant writing, EPA reports and bi-annual work plans, air quality monitoring, climate change research and monthly EPA air quality meetings/calls.

This is a full-time permanent position.
