The Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission (NWIFC) is accepting proposals from individuals or Teams with expertise in Recreation Planning, Ecology, Conservation Biology, policy and management, and/ or cultural resource protection, to work with NWIFC and its member tribes in providing policy support & technical expertise and input to State- Tribal processes addressing recreation impacts and recreation management within Washington state. We invite all interested parties to submit a proposal for consideration. LUMMI NATION REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS CLIMATE CHANGE AND WATER SUPPLY MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING SERVICES

The Lummi Nation is seeking statements of qualifications and associated fee and cost schedules to perform a wide range of climate change and water supply management and planning services in support of the Lummi Nation’s participation in the Water Resources Inventory Area No. 1 (WRIA 1)1 General Stream Adjudication. The emphasis of this work is the application of climate change information to treaty-protected resources both on and off of the Lummi Reservation, primarily as it relates to supporting healthy and sustainably harvestable salmonid populations, and conditions necessary to achieve those uses (i.e., streamflow, water levels, water quality, aquatic and riparian habitats). The anticipated services may occur both on the Lummi Indian Reservation and on properties off-Reservation. Contracted work may include tasks outlined in the linked document below:
