Various media outlets have covered the recent unsanitary use of the Skokomish River by sport fishermen, including KING 5:
Human waste is being blamed for the closure of a tribal shellfish harvest on the Skokomish River near Shelton. State health officials say evidence suggests a huge turnout of non-tribal salmon fishermen is to blame, and the tribe is furious.
